主要从事高分子材料可控合成、自组装调控及其生物医学功能应用研究,近期研究集中在气体药物(一氧化氮、一氧化碳和硫化氢)递送高分子材料的可控合成及其在炎症(如风湿性关节炎、炎症性肠病、哮喘等)、细菌/病毒感染等相关疾病的 应用研究。迄H因子为58 (数据来源Google Scholar)。2022年开始连续入选全球前2%科学家年度影响力榜单和终身影响力榜单 (今以通讯/第一作者在Chem. Soc.
