Xueyu Li, Appointed Professor at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). Her research focuses on the multiscale structural control and functionalization of polymer hydrogels, fatigue resistance of self-healing soft materials, high-throughput synthesis and characterization of polymeric materials, and functional polymer membranes.

In recent years, she has published over 40 SCI-indexed papers, including 15 as first/corresponding author in prestigious journals such as Nature Reviews Materials (1), Science Advances (2), Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (2), Macromolecules (3), and Journal of the Mechanics and Physics of Solids (1). She serves as a peer-reviewer for over 10 journals, including Advanced Materials, Nature Communications, Advanced Functional Materials, Macromolecules, Matter, Chemistry of Materials, and ACS Macro Letters.
